Why should you buy from TdL Model Systems?
TdL Model Systems has a unique line of ARF Scale Models, they are not “Foamies” but precision laser cut balsa and light ply construction, resulting in a strong, light, and easily repairable beautifully finished kit.
How do you get established as a TdL Model Systems dealer?
· Take a minute to complete the Application in full.
· With the application include a copy of your State Sales Tax Certificate.
· We ask that with your application you send along clear photos of your store. Please include a couple shots of the storefront. We want to see where you spend your days.
TdL Model Systems Dealer requirements.
· An $800.00 minimum first order is required for ALL new dealers. In order to retain "dealer" status we ask that you spend at least $400.00 per quarter. (Jan.-March, April-June, July-Sept., Oct.-Dec.) The $400.00 per quarter minimum starts on the quarter after your first order. . As long as your combined orders total $400.00 at the end of the quarter, your dealer status will remain current. · After the first $800.00 order, there is not a minimum order amount.
· Shipping on back orders (in the continental US) is FREE.
(Note: we suggest you order 2 of each model, and reorder as you sell.)
PAYMENT AND CREDIT TERMS

Payment Terms:
There are 3 different ways you can pay.
1. C.O.D. orders are currently charged $14.99*. (*$7.99 + $7.00 per box) C.O.D. backorders are charged $7.00 per box C.O.D. orders may be paid only with cashiers check or money order. Business checks are no longer accepted
2. Credit Card.
3. Prepay with a check along with your order.
TdL Model Systems's terms for Open Account :
· (NEW DEALERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS FOR THE FIRST SIX MONTHS) Contact us at the end of 6 months and request a "Credit Application Form". We will then contact the references and review your account. If approved we will let you know. · If approved you will be able to take an additional 2% discount from the merchandise total if the payment is postmarked within 10 days of invoice shipping date. The full invoice amount is due within 30 days. If payment is not received within 30 days of the invoice shipping date, no further credit will be extended and the invoice will be considered overdue.
Freight Charges for all of U.S. except Alaska and Hawaii:
· Dealers pay actual shipping charges from the Carrier.
· Expedited shipments - actual shipping charges.
· C.O.D.'s : actual ship charges + $7.00 per box.
Returned Checks:
· Dealer will be charged $25.00.
TdL Model Systems's back order policy:
· We will inform you of back orders at the time you place the order. If you would like to receive the item when it becomes available we will leave it on order. If your back order item(s) is less then $20.00 we will try and contact you to see if you would like to add to the order.
· The back ordered item(s) will be shipped as soon as it is available. · The back ordered item(s) will not be held to ship with another order. · The back ordered item(s) will be shipped free unless the backordered item was the only item ordered. · TdL Model Systems does not "Drop Ship".
Dealer Returns/Defective Merchandise:
· If you receive an item damaged or defective please return it immediately. If you sell a product to a customer, which is defective, like a speed control (see attachment), we ask that you take care of your customer and we will in turn take care of you. Do not forward your customers to TdL Model Systems for warranty or repair work.
Returns Policy:
If you do not like the merchandise you received, return it. We'll give you a refund, credit card credit, or an exchange at once. Absolutely no refunds, credits or exchanges past 60 days from time of sale!
1.) Don't wait to return it---please send it back as soon as you can.
2.) Return a copy of our invoice or picking ticket, or provide the order number.
3.) Tell us what was wrong with the item: we're not offended if you just don't like it!
4.) If the item is a kit and you have assembled any part of it we will not take it back.
5.) Please pack the item for return the way we packed it.
6.) If it is a Hitec product please contact them directly at 858-748-8440, per Hitec's request.
Damaged Due to shipping:
1.) Contact our sales department immediately. Please take note of the damage and or missing items.
2.) Keep all packaging materials. If you do not and the claim is denied you will be responsible.
3.) After contacting TdL Model Systems please hold the damaged items with packing materials for 14 days.
4.) We will contact the appropriate carrier and file a claim.
Dealer Feed-back:
We want to know what your needs are. If you would like to see us carry certain items let us know. We want to sell what you can sell. If you have problems let us know and we will do our best to solve them for you.
